Peter cancer girl gives cash ticket

Peter Kay sufferer by £10,000 a six year old cancer a lifesaving campaign has increased, after letting her ‘av’ his ticket proceeds.

The Bolton comic return visit every two appeals by Alan Madison buried donated hot weather shows.

Madison's family indicator is only found when the news about Peter went on the official website.

He by his agent was contacted a weekend address to send the money requested.

Madison’s grandmother Alison Foster said: “It’s absolutely fantastic.

We thought maybe it would raise a couple of thousand, but we’re all amazed it’s over £10,000.

“We are writing him a letter to Peter to say thank you for it, and we’re trying to find out how he’s heard about Madison’s appeal. We haven’t got a clue.”

Madison, from Lower Darwen currently not available in the UK for life saving treatment requires total £250,000. So far, more than £100,000 has been raised and now a trial of chemotherapy drugs have been the third course.

Mrs Foster added: “We’re really, really hoping that the tumour has shrunk again this time.

“Madison does seem to be coping better with the chemotherapy at the moment, and this time has had no sickness. She’s also eating 24/7 and is enjoying school.

“We’re hoping that she will be able to meet Peter Kay to say thank you to him for his donation, which along with everyone else’s is helping her fight.”

Peter said: “I just read about it in the paper and decided to help the appeal. I hope it helps in some way.”

Comedian Peter Kay has donated €250,000 to charity

Comedian Peter Kay has donated €250,000 to the charity Irish Autism Action.

Final sold out show at Dublin's O2 Arena after striking up a friendship with the charity’s patron Keith Duffy.

The Boyzone star told the Irish Independent: ‘What a heart Peter Kay has. Words can't describe how generous it is of him to do this.

‘Peter could have sold out three more nights at the O2 but he decided to add one more night so he could donate the money to charity. This is a phenomenal thing to do.’

The comedian broke his record for existing arena tour than a million tickets sold become friends with Duffy when they both appeared in 2002 in coronation street.
