Liam Gallagher still gunning for Peter Kay

Liam Gallagher is still fuming about Peter Kay’s below-the-belt remark about him at the Brits – and says the cuddly comedian is a marked man.

Mighty Mouse Liam has come out fighting, threatening to “f***ing deck” Hotpot Belly Peter if he sees him.

While hosting the Brits in February, Peter, 36, branded 37-year-old Liam a “k***head”. It came after Liam collected the gong for Best Album of the past 30 years, gave a foul-mouthed acceptance speech, then hurled both his mic and award into the crowd. Charming.

Peter got the biggest laugh of the night for his joke, but two months on and Liam still hasn’t seen the funny side.

Well, it’s not like him to hold a grudge, is it? Just ask his brother Noel.

Liam says of Peter: “Talking of knob, have you seen yours lately, you f****** fat c***? Know what I mean? Bet he ain’t seen his for years.

“That is one c*** who’d get decked if I saw him on the street, believe you me.”

The Pretty Green designer also still has it in for brother Noel, who quit Oasis because of all their sibling scraps.

Liam also tells ShortList mag: “I don’t wanna see [Noel]. But if I see him I’ll probably end up f****** leatherin’ him.

“Noel seems like he is mates with Russell Brand now. They’re a f****** match. Who do they remind me of? You remember that old politician, the weird little b****** with the wife that were dead tall... Neil Hamilton! That’s who they look like.”

Still, Liam could get the last laugh. We hear Jay-Z – whose headline slot at Glastonbury infuriated Noel – is keen to work with Liam. He says: “If he wants to do a tune with me and he rings me, and I don’t have to do that much and he wants to put my voice on a tune that I like, then, y’know, I’ll do it. But you wouldn’t catch me rapping.”

Imagine that, Yo-Oasis...

Peter topped a poll of celebrities.

BOLTON comic Peter Kay has topped a poll of celebrities that people would most like to hear record an unofficial World Cup song for England’s bid for glory in South Africa this summer.

He was the fans’ top choice by a massive margin, winning more than 25 per cent of the votes.

Supermarket group Tesco carried out the poll and the company’s entertainment director, Rob Salter, said: “World Cup songs are a tradition and our poll shows fans would love a new one to sing to support England this summer.

“Peter is clearly the nation’s top choice and we would be over the moon if he agreed to record a track.”

Robbie Williams was second in the poll with 7.9 per cent of the vote.
